 This ceramic table was created by Year 8 students ( now Year 11 leavers) during their Art lessons, in collaboration with the Science Department.

Through the studio window...Easter break is upon us

A snapshot of creative spaces in the studio.
All examination students are busily preparing for their 10/12 hour exam pieces, gathering research, photographs, ideas and compositions for the final execution of their design.
After a very busy Spring Term it is safe to say the studio spaces have been well used, the kiln often filled to the brim,  paintings on easels and sculpture constructions in unusual places.

To commence their Man and Machine Unit, the Year 9 GCSE students are completing a large A2 oil pastel study of machinery parts. Here are some fantastic composition plans and the beginning of a very high standard of work from all students.
